So, you've got your little orange card and are now wondering just exactly what it's for. Well, what follows will hopefully clear up the obvious stuff and if there's anything else just get in touch and we'll let you know one way or another.
Let's get this bit out of the way first shall we.
A Queue Jumper : This is Britain and if we didn't wait patiently for our turn then there'd be chaos!
A Guarantee Of Entry : Have you seen how small the place is? Unfortunately, once we're full then I'm afraid we're full and the age-old one-in-one-out system comes into play.
A Licence To Be Rude : Not that any of you would ever dream of it but just a reminder that being rude to anyone in the place (especially our lovely staff) isn't the done thing - manners cost nothing.
A Licence To Be A Fool : Again not that any of you would dream of doing so but being too rowdy, doing daft stuff, annoying other people and the like are generally not a good way to go about having a pleasant evening yourself.
Here's what your bit of orange card is any good for.
Super Special 10% Daytime Discount : Yep it's that simple: members get 10% discount on food and drink before 7pm each and every day. It can't be used in conjunction with any of the other offers though. Make sure you read the legal guff below to find out the specifics of what is and isn't included.
A Free Entry Pass For Friday and Saturday Evening : Feel like you're getting one over on 'the man' by deftly flashing your card to the nice person on the door thus not having to part with a couple of quid. However, we may on occasion have one-off events on a Friday or Saturday for which this perk isn't available. We may or may not provide a discount for such events.
A Pass For Special Members Stuff : We will be doing some more special members only offers and maybe even whole events that are exclusively for those who are down with the orange. So for those who haven't already supplied us with their (genuine) details then please get in touch so that we can keep you up to date with the latest hot potatoes.
We deliberately tried to be a bit more environmentally friendly by making those little orange cards out of, well, card. However, we realise this means they're far from indestructible so if you need a replacement just get in touch with the same email address you registered with and, after cross-checking it against what's stored on our wood-burning supercomputer, we'll send you out a replacement.
By using your membership card to claim any of the offers and discounts you are confirming that you have read and understand these terms and conditions and are agreeing to be bound by them.
The 10% Daytime Discount can only be claimed by bona fide members showing their valid membership card when they order and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers (for example you don't get 10% off any of the meal deal offers or house wine promotion). The discount DOES NOT apply to tobacco products. Also, due to the limitations of only having pounds and pence, any fraction of a penny in a discount price will be rounded up to the nearest penny (oooooh, we're Scrooges aren't we!)
