25th January 2012
Hello!

Hope this year is treating you well? We are straight into the thick of it.
Our sister bar Port Street Beer House is currently setting up a brand new newsletter, if you would like to keep up to date, you can sign up via their website, there is more information below.
Our celebrated DJ rosta is now floating around the ethernet, somewhere in the clouds. We also have exclusive news of a small cult being set up around the Northern Quarter. Recently we have been sent some rotten eggs in the post with words scribbled on the shells. It took a while to decipher, but the message is below, please absorb.
All the best

News is coming thick and fast. As our sister bar grows into her second year we have decided to let her have her own voice, in the form of a sparkly shiny newsletter.
There will be a brand new one sent out early next week, so if you would like to keep up to date with the latest events, blog posts and fantastic beers, you can now sign up to the mailing list via the link below.
We will now keep this mailout strictly to Common behaviour. Thanks!

Head In The
Mixclouds

With the amazing array of DJs and musical friends we have, it’s quite hard to keep up with what is hot! Well, we may have the answer, in the form of clouds.
You can now follow us and listen in to DJ mixes via our Mixcloud page, which holds great selections from special guests, residents and friends of the bar. Keep checking back every now and again for new bits and bobs cropping up.
Currently on our playlist are mixes from Full Beam, Emmy The Greater, ESqueezy and Craig Campbell (Freitags). Get your head in the clouds.

Praise Be
Church Of The Mystic Egg

“Lightest of all are the slumbers of Egg, who may be awakened by the veriest novice in the art. Egg lies drowsing beyond the Great Gate, hideous in form, servant to the sleeping Old Ones who wait for their day once more to dawn.
But Egg may be summoned from his blasphemous dreams and forced to serve. One who achieves control over him has access to the wealth of the world; but great care must be exercised, for fear of Egg’s wrath, for even he shares the might of the Old Ones, and pity be upon him who summons him and loses control. Egg is called by simple incantations. The blood of a male cat is needed and the undergarment of a woman.”
