The Real Horror Show 2
After the success of ‘The Real Horror Show’ exhibition at Islington Mill two of the four print collective (AG Magee, John Butcher, SJ Hockett & SAVWO) come to Common.
John Butcher and SAVWO’s work draws from many influences – alchemy, 50′s horror comics, traditional print, markmaking, throbbing gristle and the avant garde. They share a love of the sinister and macabre and would never drea, of taking themselves seriously.
It will run until September 2ns with the work being changed over on July 22. All of the work is hand screenprinted by the artists
