Clash Of The Titans

An Exhibition by Low Bros, Mr Gauky, DXTR and Mr Penfold
Saturday 20th August - February 2012

A few months ago we were approached by Sheffield based apparel merchants Dirty Face. They had a project which we couldn’t refuse! The meeting came about via the wondrous Rabbit Portal (aka Matt Saunders) who painted our wall back in January of this year.

Matt suggested that Dirty Face get in touch with us and bring over Low Bros, who are visiting the UK. This escalated into a ‘five piece graffiti work out’, you can see all this happen right before your very eyes THIS Saturday from 11am. Check the amazing list of artists involved and pay us a visit.

Low Bros
Nerd and Qbrk are a team of designers, illustrators, and muralists that go by the name Low Bros, based in Berlin. Their work is reminiscent of a vibrant, more urban version of a Triplets of Belleville character.

DXTR
A German based illustrator who works in digital format, creating amazingly original artwork across multiple platforms. His artwork can be found on many brands across the globe, working heavily in fashion illustration.

Mr Gauky
Remember our Viking themed outside wall? One of the collaborators from that piece is back again! Mr Gauky is one of the artists that can basically do it all. From illustration, to 3D modelling, to graffiti, the guy oozes talent. His clients include names such as MTV, Diesel, Iron Fist, Carhartt and the list goes on. He has also been featured in numerous magazines and publications such as Computer Arts, Dangerous Ink and Wizards Hat to name a few.

Mr Penfold
Amid the bicycle ridden streets of Cambridge, Mr Penfold lurks. Observing characters, then re-creating them on walls and canvas’. Using strong linear elements against organic outlines with an overly scientific approach to colour, Penfold works with record labels, promoters and clothing companies and has also appeared in a range of magazines such as Graphotism, K Mag and Don’t Panic!
